After 15 years building a publishing company for psychologists and psychiatrists, Dr. Melanie Dean went on to sell it for the exact amount of money she had been envisioning. How did the thoughts and feelings she had been nurturing sync up with the opportunities that brought her exactly what she wanted?
The Hidden Power of Emotions: How to Activate your Energy Field and Transform your Life is the culmination of 10 years of Dr. Dean’s research in psychology, molecular physics, and quantum physics to answer that question. In her newest book, she reveals the truth that she discovered – there is a science-backed system for tapping your intuition’s power and using it to get what you want.
Dr. Dean explains how each one of us is continually communicating with a living world of energy, whether we realise it or not. Your emotions, which are made up of atoms, create energy waves that leave your body and connect with similar energy. When you focus your feelings on what you want, you begin to intentionally direct your energy, sending out waves that will connect you with and help you achieve your desires.
Dr. Dean shares not only the science behind her research but also strategies to apply it to your everyday life including: · How to feel your way to health. · How to purposefully direct your emotions to connect you with what you want to receive.
· Common struggles that weaken your power (Blame, Fear, Complaining…)
· Easy ways to boost and increase your personal power
About your host:
Ingrid Marsh, aka The Soul Babe, is an empowerment coach, diversity and inclusion activist, growth mindset trainer, and a personal development coach. She is on a mission for us to take time out to pause in order to improve ourselves, express ourselves fully and create a better world. Her work adopted a holistic approach after a slump at age fifty. Ingrid absorbed herself in nature by running every day in the rain and snow over thirty consecutive days and vlogging it it. She adopted a primarily plant-based diet and retrained in essential oil candle making to breathe nature's healing aroma in her home. Her work helps us to overcome the hidden impact of 'fixed mindset' cultures and unconscious biases on our self-esteem and mental wellbeing so that we can restore inner peace, energy and joy. A staggering one out of every five students report being bullied in England, Wales and America. The reasons for being bullied reported most often by students include physical appearance, race/ethnicity, gender, disability, religion and sexual orientation. My guest, Hasina Rahman is the owner of a female only martial arts club in Luton, called Pink Diamond Martial Arts. She started her martial arts journey at the age of 15 after being bullied at secondary school for the colour of her skin.
Her ordeal was simply tragic. She said that she would stay quiet and small in the hope that the bullies wouldn't notice her.
However, the wonderful Hasina did not stay small forever. Instead, she went on to achieve three black belts in three different styles of martial arts. She is now a public speaker for self-confidence and has recently published her first children's book called Heroes, a guide to anti-bullying.
This is a truly compelling interview with a truly phenomenal woman.

Seasonal affective disorder (SAD) is a type of depression that comes and goes in a seasonal pattern. It is sometimes known as the “winter depression” or “winter blues” because the symptoms are typically more apparent and more severe during the winter. It affects around three in one hundred people in the UK and around twenty percent of the US population, primarily those in northern climates. Of course, seasonality affects people all over the world.

What if your regular bunch of weekly flowers was more than just that? What if you gravitated towards those said flowers for a reason?
Check out my talk with the spiritual flower lady, Yvette Munasinghe. She helps women to reconnect with their inner self, and set fire to their flame that flickers within. If you're wondering how? She does it all with the aid of mother nature's beautiful gift of the flower.
Yvette's Bio
Yvette Munasinghe is a Flower Therapist and Intuitive Flower Healer, working with the energy of flowers in all that she does and sharing their messages of guidance and love. Four years ago, she decided to take up floristry and realised through the eye of a Ranunculus, that there was more to flowers than the beauty we see with our eyes. Since then she has been on a spiritual journey, connecting with flowers, being taught how to connect with archangels, the shamanic energy that flows through her, and becoming certified as a flower healer. Through her intuitive healing, she helps women who feel like they have lost their identity, who need a little boost with their self-esteem or confidence and helps them gain clarity around situations in their life.

]]>I can't help wondering if traditional life and viewpoints around sex has taken us away from what love-making is really about? If this is the reason why, according to research by Real-Fix.com, just under fifty percent of people bemoan the lack of sex in their marriage? Or perhaps, why more than one in five NEVER getting intimate between the sheets? Their study of 2,000 married adults also found 35 per cent often argue with their spouse, while a huge 51 per cent believe there is ‘no romance’ in their relationship.
All is not lost, says my guest Ruth Ramsay. Ruth is a sex expert who is on a mission to have us rewild our sex lives, irrespective of whether we're in a relationship or not. Yes, indeed, it all starts with YOU and this is why I just adore her.

Ruth Ramsay Bio

In her transformational coaching business, she helps women who are ready to reboot their sex lives after years of unsatisfying (or non-existent) sex. Typical feedback reads: “I wouldn’t have been able to have this kind of mind-blowing, categorically different, life-altering sex without you – thank you!!”. Her background includes being an award-winning striptease artist, exotic dance teacher, sex journalist, and campaigner for the erotic rights of people with disabilities. She describes herself as “utterly unshockable” and is on a mission to normalise conversations around sex and pleasure. Ruth believes that we all have an erotic energy that exists independently of our physical abilities or body’s age. This energy can – and should - be something we can all access as a vibrant source of pleasure, empowerment and health. About the Soul Babe
Broadcaster and Holistic Lifestyle Coach, Ingrid Marsh, aka, The Soul Babe got her groove back by changing her health and life at age fifty. She hit a major slump mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and physically and was diagnosed with arthritis in her knee. Her energy slumbered further from the low vibe and energy at the treatment centre she was attending for physio. It was at that point she decided that she had no intention of withering away.
As a mind coach, she knew this meant forming new habits. She ran in the park for thirty days in the rain and killer snow the media dubbed the Beast from the East and vlogged it. She did this all while looking nothing like the stereotypical runner. Through shattering cultivated stereotypes around age and gender she is on a mission to prove it's never too late to be who you were meant to be.

]]>Karen's Bio:
Coming from a place of self doubt, lack of self worth and lack of self confidence Karen has spent the last 4/5 years an intense journey self discovery. This came after spending 20 years two10 year abusive relationships, which left her feeling and believing she was worth little and would never amount to anything….which impacted her life on many levels.
Through self-development Karen discovered strengths and talents that she never new existed. She moved from being a victim to a victor. From having no belief in herself to setting up her own property management company…something she never dreamed possible. Then through this process and journey, she discovered Feng Shui.
After having a Feng Shui consultation from a leading consultant implemented the advice and started to see amazing results. So she embarked on the training to become a consultant herself so she could help others achieve the results they wanted through this powerful ancient art. She now has her own consultancy practice based Brighton, but offers consultations around the UK and world. She also runs workshops in Brighton and the South East for those who are interested to learn more.
Karen is also about to launch her podcast; The Feng Shui Podcast, to offer tips, information and interesting interviews from other consultants and practitioners from around the world.

We now find ourselves speaking openly for the first time about something which has been hidden or not talked about for millennia. I feel that this is one of the most important discussions to be had of our time and in todays episode I have invited my good friend Ingrid Marsh who has personally been fighting against racism for many years of her life. By bringing these issues up to the fore, there's a feeling of hope that change may be possible.
