making the unconscious, conscious
Diversity & Inclusion Expert, NLP Practitioner and Broadcaster, Ingrid Marsh, is the founder the founder of Women With Voices, an organisation that helps women to get their voices heard. Here she provides tools to develop a resilient mindset, override the impact of bias on self-esteem and make a personal impact. She is also a volunteer teacher at a Saturday School and witnesses first hand the negative impact of stereotyping on children. Recent reports show mental health issues among children are at an all time high and young girls also reported holding themselves back due to stereotypes about how they look. She is currently campaigning for the UK government to remove the jargon, and bring awareness to the stereotypes that are being reinforced in artificial intelligence as well as in advertising and provide advice on mitigating its impact on our health, lives and wellbeing. Driven by her work on raising awareness of the gender and racial bias in Artificial Intelligence, how bias affects our perceptions and the tech we create as a result, Ingrid is on a mission to disrupt workforces. To mitigate the impact of unconscious biases through not just diverse and inclusive workforces but though the diversity of thought. To create a workplace culture where employees bring their authentic selves to work and their unique voices to the table.
For organisations, this is achieved through her Inclusive Leadership Programme which is a unique combination of Neuro Linguistic Programming, growth mindset training, bias awareness and communication skills. For individuals, she coaches and provides a twelve-month subscription programme.
