Shipping and Returns

SHIPPING AND RETURNS

 

Standard UK delivery: £2.95 with FREE shipping for orders over £80

Europe and the rest of the world: £12 with free shipping for orders over £130

 

All deliveries will require a signature upon acceptance. From the UK all deliveries are dispatched from our warehouse within 2 working days and arrive within 3 working days. Please allow up to 7 days for candles which are generally hand made to order.

 

International delivery is also available. All merchandise is dispatched from our warehouse within 2 working days. For Europe, delivery is within a further 5 working days and rest of world within a further 7 working days. 

 

If you are making an international order, please ensure you’ve filled in your proper address. Please note that we are not liable for custom clearance fees in your country and holding times of packages by customs in your country. This is unfortunately out of our control.

Also, please note tracking is limited once a package leaves the UK. Please do not reject/refuse a delivery due to customs fees. If you choose to reject/refuse delivery due to customs fees, there will be a charged £20 return fee deducted from your refund to cover return shipping due to your refusal. 


RETURNS


Our policy lasts for 10 days. If 10 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging, in saleable condition have the hang tag on it. It must also be free from makeup stains or have not been washed or altered in any way.

You are responsible for return shipping fees. We advise that you return your parcel using a tracked/insured service as only merchandise that has been received back to our warehouse can be processed for returns or exchanges. Please ensure you have sufficient insurance cover especially when returning valuable products. We cannot accept responsibility for goods lost or damaged in transit. Exchanges will be shipped out to you free of charge. You can exchange your merchandise for items of the same style in a different size or colour.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:

* Gift cards
* Downloadable software products
* Some health and personal care items
* Earrings, perfumes, skincare and beauty. This is our company policy for hygiene and safety reasons

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.


REFUNDS

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds 

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.


Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

SALE ITEMS

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

EXCHANGES

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please use our automated return service or send us an email at ingrid@womenwithvoices.co.uk

GIFTS

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over £75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

FAULTY ITEMS:

If an item is faulty, we must be informed as soon as possible of your intention to return. We will give instructions for the return of the item. The item must be complete with all its component parts. A repair must not have been attempted.
The item must not have been altered or modified in any way. The customer is responsible for ensuring the item arrives back to us in the same condition as it was sent. The return postage cost is the responsibility of the customer, but in almost all cases will be refunded after the item has been received by us.


Items must be inspected upon receipt and signed for as damaged if applicable. All damage to goods must be reported to us within 30 days of receipt. Claims outside of 30 days will not be honoured due to uncertainty over how the product has been handled and stored. By signing for goods, you are accepting they were provided in good condition.
